There's also a Yoshi-specific pipe world, which can only be accessed by eating a fruit stuck in its entrance. Once you're playing as Yoshi, you can run around and eat those fruits you may have noticed hanging around the level: grab enough and you'll get a Star. Yoshi's location here is also a reference to Super Mario 64 - in that game you could find him on top of the castle after collecting 120 Stars. But luckily, Mario has a far more disturbing way of accessing the Yoshi experience: just throw your hat at the creature and take over his feeble mind, jumping down to the world below. Protected by a transparent slip-case which also houses the book's logo, The Art of Super Mario Odyssey is a lush and luxurious piece of work, and is pretty much essential for anyone who. But you'll notice that you can't ride him by jumping on top of him, like you can in previous games. At the top you'll find an egg: throw your hat at it to crack it open and see your old green friend. Throw your hat on it and climb up the stairs that appear. To get there, you'll need to face the castle and go to the right side, where you'll see a scarecrow. ![]()
